KNX is global, and KNX based solutions are deployed worldwide, thanks to the international network of more than 100000 certified system integrators. Some regions impose regulatory frameworks to electrical/electronic equipment, based on their features and capabilities (e.g. HVAC application, wireless connectivity). With the expansion of the KNX specifications thanks to the new KNX IoT technologies, KNX is adding new wireless physical layers as well as is reaching new application fields, making KNX even more appealing in regions where these regulatory frameworks exist.
