45th WorldSkills Competition in Kazan under the Star of KNX

The 45th edition of the WorldSkills Competition took place 22-27 August 2019in Kazan, Russia. In total, 1354 young professionals from 63 countries and regions tried their strength in 56 skills.

In the skill of Electrical Installations, the world's best competitors from 40 nations showed again, why they were chosen to compete against each other. The results were almost certainly among the best installations to be concentrated in one place.

As before, KNX Association was proud that KNX was the technology chosen for the world's leading skill competition, and would like to congratulate the winners:

  • Xingxing Xiao (China) - Gold
  • Yu-Jung Lin (Chinese Taipei) - Silver
  • Dmtrii Kostin (Russia) - Silver
  • Carlos Brys (Brazil) - Bronze
  • Germar Unterweger (South Tyrol, Italy) - Bronze

KNX Association would also like to thank all of the competitors and experts for a wonderful competition that enriched the lives of all and provided such unforgettable memories.

The 46th WorldSkills Competition is due to take place in Shanghai, China in 2021.
