The ABB i-bus^® KNX Switch Actuators with Energy Function (SA/S x.16.6.2) offers an efficient energy management thanks to our 4M solution:

• Measurement: Current measurement and contact supervision
• Metering: Flexible and easy calculation of power and energy consumption
• Monitoring: Monitoring of consumption and load status
• Management: Easy integration in an energy / load management system

For a comprehensive energy management the switch actuators can be integrated into an energy / load management system, e.g., EQmatic KNX (QA/S 1.16.1). The EQmatic analyzes continuously the system consumption. In case of overload, the device sends load shedding stages to the switch actuator. The outputs react once they received their corresponding shedding stage.
