KNX Manufacturer Tool Workshop

The 1st Manufacturer Tool Workshop, that took place the 6th import_contentamp; 7th of November at the KNX Association offices in Brussels, ended on a high note with all the participants satisfactorily finishing the proposed practical exercises. The training focused on the KNX development workflow (Manufacturer Tool > ETS > Device). The participants developed Application Programs based on SystemB, using the Manufacturer Tool, importing the outcome on ETS and accomplishing the loading procedure on the new KNX Virtual device. Additionally, the workshop also meant a great networking occasion between KNX Members, where relevant topics like streamlining production using EITT or the difference between device properties and parameters were discussed. The training is based on the latest techniques, such as the modular approach, which optimizes the development by shortening the number of lines of code and reducing the total time required to implement the design.
