Weather station detects wind direction

The Suntracer KNX pro weather station records all relevant weather data for building control, including temperature, brightness, precipitation, wind speed, wind direction, humidity and pressure. The wind measurement is carried out on two ultrasonic measuring sections. Advantages of the method are the precise wind direction detection an the short reaction time when wind speed changes. Five differently aligned light sensors are used to detect the sun during the course of the day. 12 facades can be automated with the Suntracer KNX pro, taking into account solar position, the direction of the facade, shadow cast, shadow edge and slat position. Visual protection and time functions can be defined as well as travel positions and priorities of the protection and automatic commands.
