Smart Technology Forum

The 5th edition of the "Smart Technology Forum" congress, taking place on January 23 at the ILUNION Atrium Hotel in Madrid, will focus this year on Facility Management, the discipline responsible for managing the operation of buildings and their services, integrating people, spaces, and technologies to enhance productivity by utilizing available resources.

The congress will revolve around the role of technology in Facility Management to achieve sustainability and efficiency goals, as well as the evolution of management models. Bringing together the technological and FM sectors in a single event, through presentations and panel discussions, the event will address the challenges they face from various perspectives, exploring how technology can aid in their solutions, trends, and future sector needs. The aim is to foster collaboration among various stakeholders, including owners, Facility Managers, solution providers (manufacturers, developers, installers, integrators...), and end-users, in order to seek and provide comprehensive solutions and exchange knowledge in person. This congress, jointly organized by Smartech Cluster, KNX Spain, IFMA Spain, and SmartLivingPlat, will cover different solutions and technologies to address present and future sector challenges, including technologies for optimizing facility management such as IoT, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and process automation, among others.

The event will also delve into Building Management Systems, comprehensive CMMS, cybersecurity, energy efficiency and management, renewable energy generation, integration and storage, intelligent lighting, and Human Centric Lighting. Lastly, the congress will explore the future of Facility Management, including topics like BIM and digital twins, Blockchain, Smart Contracts, Energy Communities, and more.
