IFA 2024

The ‘House of Smart Living’ will be located in Hall 1.2 (Smart Home) at IFA 2024. In the 100 square metre model house, interested visitors can find out about smart applications and networked building technologies in a fun way.

The House of Smart Living will once again be jointly organised by the three electrical associations VDE, ZVEH and ZVEI. ARD's morning news programme will also be a guest in the smart model house again and will report live from there on IFA for a day.

• Controllable consumption devices & energy management (paragraph 14a: dimming of charging station, heat pump & co. by grid operators in the event of grid overload)

Another brand new feature is that interested visitors to the association's stand can use VR glasses to playfully test how intelligent building technology can contribute to climate protection. Visitors can take part in an eco-score challenge and try to charge an electric vehicle as efficiently as possible with green energy or install smart and energy-saving building technology. Short explanatory texts show ways to make your own home more energy-efficient.
