KNX Belgium invites Architects and Building Designers to workshop

On 23rd of November, KNX Belgium invited interested architects and building designers to a workshop at the monumental "Havenhuis" building in the port of Antwerp, in itself equipped with KNX technology.

After a welcome by the Vice-President Karel de Wulf, Mr. Demarest as CTO of KNX International underlined during his presentation that KNX is unrivalled as regards interoperability between products of different manufacturers, therefore making it the number one choice for fully integrated smart homes and buildings. This vision was clearly shared by the other speakers, amongst others:

• the company GDb Engineering using KNX in passive and energy neutral buildings
• the company Dynamitec having used KNX in the old post office building in the mediaeval city of Ghent converted to a hotel,
• the hospital of AZ Sint Jan in Bruges gradually upgrading its premises with KNX and
• the University of Leuven using KNX at its different campuses.

The afternoon was concluded with a guided tour of the Havenhuis.
