ELFACK 2015 – KNX in Sweden!

KNX Association has been part of the well-known Scandinavian fair called ELFACK, that took place in Sweden (Gothenburg) from the 05th to the 8th of May of 2015. In collaboration with the KNX National Group in Sweden, various events and activities were organized to promote KNX in this vibrant part of the world.

The KNX booth was located in a prime location, attracting visitors of all types, in association with the local organization "eio".

The presence of the KNX technology was well supported by members like ABB, Hager, Jung, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Theben, Esylux, Wago, Wieland and Zennio, who all together accumulated a fair amount of the total square meters of the fair.

It is worth mentioning the effort of local training centres offering free introductory KNX training to visitors, as well the skills competition between Norway and Sweden.

Last but not least, Jesús Arias was representing the KNX Association, who delivered a seminar called "KNX solutions for LEED strategies" that gathered not just enthusiastic people from the KNX world but also construction companies and consultants. The presentation was followed by a conversation with Rikad Nilson (president of the KNX National Group in Sweden) on the stage, that lead to interesting chats with some of the assistants.
