KNX accreditation status imminent for TÜV Rheinland Hong Kong and Taiwan

After the head office in Cologne submitted its application to become a KNX accredited test lab in 2013, in 2015 also the subsidiaries of Hong Kong and Taiwan showed interest in extending their test offer with KNX interworking/functionality conformity tests according to the KNX Standard.

KNX Association took the occasion of the GEBT Fair to combine the visit to China with the scheduling of a KNX pre-accreditation audit, to which the test engineers of both TÜV Rheinland Hong Kong and Taiwan were invited: the audit was conducted on the basis of sample test reports submitted by the two TÜV Rheinland subsidiaries, both based on KNX products emanating from Chinese KNX members. The result of the audit will allow both subsidiaries to finish both of their sample test reports, submit them to a last evaluation by KNX, after which both of them will be added to the list of KNX accredited test labs.
