KNX-485 Converter(Gateway)

This product is a **KNX-485 data transparent transmission module**. It converts KNX bus signals into RS485 signals and distributes them to four independent output channels, enabling the control of devices connected to the RS485 bus. It also supports converting data from the RS485 bus into KNX bus data, enabling **bidirectional data transmission**. ### KNX-485 Transparent Transmission The transparent transmission between KNX and RS485 can be configured in the product database through ETS. **(1) Communication Settings and Verification** The four independent channels can be configured individually with communication parameters, including **baud rate, data bits, stop bits, and parity**. The module supports common checksum verification methods as well as custom **CRC16 verification**. Each channel supports up to **50 telegram nodes**, and the transmission interval of each channel can be configured independently. **(2) Telegram Matching** Each RS485 telegram supports a maximum length of **30 bytes**. Two matching modes are available: **Exact Matching** and **Partial Matching**. Exact Matching can accommodate RS485 telegrams of any format. Partial Matching supports flexible processing of variable data bytes within RS485 telegrams, including various logical operations and transparent transmission. Error-checking prompts are provided during configuration. **(3) Delayed and Timed Telegram Transmission** Supports delayed and scheduled telegram transmission. The transmission time and number of transmissions can be configured. **(4) RS485 Device Read Function** After forwarding a control telegram from KNX to an RS485 device, the module can be configured to read the **device status or register values** from the RS485 device. **(5) Channel Status Indicators** The indicator LEDs of each channel provide visual feedback on the **transmission and reception status of RS485 telegrams**.
