The switching actuator/blind actuator is intended for use in KNX systems. It is used to switch electrical loads via potential-free contacts and to control electrically operated blinds, shutters, awnings, and similar coverings. It is installed in a sub-distribution board on a top-hat rail in accordance with DIN EN 60715. The outputs can be operated manually, which allows for use on construction sites. It is possible to switch between blind and switching mode manually without having to restart the system. Status and feedback messages are available in both manual and bus mode; individual outputs can be blocked manually or via the bus. The actuator also supports status messages such as a wind alarm. The device is compatible with KNX Data Secure and can be updated via the Insta ETS Service app.
