Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
This project is a Luxury 3 bedroom 4800sqft apartment located in central London. The brief was to provide a completely integrated home control system that was discrete and user friendly. Utilizing a KNX system for lighting, blinds, heating, cooling and plant control, all interfaced with the Audio and Visual system, we were able to ensure the apartment was easily operated and in-line with the contemporary finish, with the stylish Basalte touchscreens and keypads.
With full plant room control on the KNX, the property also includes 21 individually controlled climate zones, with each fan coil unit using two dedicated modules to interface with the KNX system.
A wide range of lighting was used, from DALI, switching, tuneable, RGBW and interfacing between a third party DMX system. We were able to easily take control with the use of all the tools a KNX system offers.
