Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
The usage of KNX and IP allowed full transversal scenes between different application fields: Lighting, HVAC, Shades, Music, Access Control, Pool.
The scenes are designed once by DMC Technology and the owner can change and adjust them using the graphical interface. Then all scenes can be started by the keypads to allow device-free daily usage.
The automation is mostly based on external conditions such as temperatures, brightness, and Sunrise/Sunset event.
Could-based remote access and profile allow the owner to get the house ready for his return or to welcome guests.
A specific attention has been given to the overall footprint of this desert villa. The array of solar panels, and the high energy-efficient HVAC system interworking with KNX to reduce the impact on the house and on the utility bill.
Complying with dark-sky philosophy, all accent light, and landscape light are fully turned off during the night to let everyone enjoy the desert sky full of stars.
