Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Description des clients

KNX controls the UFH via the excellent TYM646R heating actuator which is also a heating controller. The PI (control variable) along with the PWM of the triacs actuator provide a stable control of heating and also saves energy when driving the electrothermic ON/OFF heads of the UFH. The Fan coil actuators are used for cooling. The control variable is sent from the heating controller to the FCA and then based on the measured room temperature the FCU sets the appropriate fan speed based on the calculation of the PI and at the same time the heat requirement signal is sent to the Heat pump.
