Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
An unserer Schule "Lycée Privé Emile Metz" haben wir gemeinsam mit unseren Schüler*innen zwei eigene KNX‑Lernboards entwickelt, die im Unterricht zur KNX‑Programmierung eingesetzt werden. Die Schüler im Alter von 15 bis 19 Jahren, in Ausbildung zur Gesellenprüfung oder zum Technikerdiplom, waren aktiv am Bau beteiligt. Von beiden Varianten wurden jeweils 30 Boards hergestellt und auf die Standorte Differdange und Dommeldange verteilt. Die erste Version vermittelt grundlegende Programmierkenntnisse (Schalten, Dimmen, Ansteuerung Jalousie) während die zweite durch die Simulation von drei Linien komplexere Aufgaben ermöglicht. Beide Boards sind modular aufgebaut und können flexibel mit unseren KNX Wetterstationen oder Webservern erweitert werden. Diese Unikate haben wir ausschließlich für unsere Schule entwickelt. Zusätzlich führen wir regelmäßig NEXTGEN‑Kurse durch, und weitere Lehrkräfte werden geschult, um mehr Schüler zum NEXTGEN‑Diplom zu begleiten.
