Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

This KNX graduation project focuses on creating a smart home experience by integrating control over various functionalities: 1. Lighting: On/Off Control: Turn lights on and off remotely or based on presence detection through sensors. Dimming: Adjust the brightness of individual lights or entire zones to create desired ambiance. Scene Selection: Pre-programmed lighting settings for different activities like reading, relaxing, or entertaining. RGB Control: Control the color and brightness of RGB LED strips or lamps, creating personalized lighting effects. 2. HVAC System: Temperature Control: Set and adjust the desired room temperature through a user interface or based on temperature sensor readings. Fan Speed Adjustment: Control the fan speed of the HVAC system for optimal comfort and efficiency. And etc
