Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
The size and structure of this 3-storey landed house requires a reliable and robust smart home system to manage and control household features and scenes. KNX, the worldwide standard for smart home and building control, is chosen for this purpose. Known for its wide array of transmission mediums, reliable communication protocol, and future-proof system architecture, we deploy KNX system as the backbone of the smart home control (i.e. lighting, shading, air-conditioning etc) while Control4, known for its AV and 3rd party product interface capabilities, serves as the front-end to process scenes, to provide end-user graphical interface (GUI), and to integrate IoT devices. Put together, they strengthen the value proposition of a modern smart home system that is more responsive, interactive and entertaining in today’s living environment.
