Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
At the client’s request, this house was fully automated. Systems such as lighting, microclimate control, curtains/blinds, security, access control, audio management, and irrigation were integrated into the KNX system.
We implemented scenario-based lighting control, with all lighting managed via the DALI protocol. The lighting system is connected to other systems, such as security, climate control, and curtains.
Basalte Sentido control buttons were installed, allowing not only light control but also climate and music control. Music can be managed through scenarios or buttons.
A camera surveillance system was integrated, enabling real-time viewing via an Basalte app and recording footage on an Synology NVR.
Ekey readers were used for access control, with three doors in the house controlled by different readers.
For curtain control, a KNX weather station was installed, allowing position adjustments based on light levels and protecting rooms from overheating.
