Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
We made lighting automation system for the corridors. All luminaires used at corridors were DALI dimmable. We used KNX based corridor sensors and switches. At conventional system all luminaires were turned on at 8 am and turned off at 6 pm. We added KNX based occupancy and day light sensors to corridors, DALI gateways, KNX based switch actuators to the electrical distribution pannels, line couplers and a gateway for remote monitoring and scene adjustment. After installation between 8:00 am and 00:00 pm the luminaires are dimmed to 10% when there is no occupancy. If there is occupancy they increase to 100% in three seconds. After 00:00 pm to 8:00 am the luminaires are turned off when there is no occupancy. If there is occupancy they increase to 100% at three seconds.
