Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
This is the first KNX project for commercial area in Japan!
KNX had no chance to be installed for movie theater application in Japan so far because there was no choice except for Japanese major manufacture control system.
However UPLINK Kichijoji wanted to make the space special, so they commissioned a lighting design office, LOOP Lighting in New York. And they made a lighting plan with fixtures with a world standard lighting control system DALI.
But there was a problem. Japanese major manufacture's control system did not support DALI.
That's why the installer consulted us, that was in August 2018.
Then we made a plan for the control system by KNX, we received an order from the installer in October, we installed in November, and UPLINK Kichijoji was opened in December 2018.
