Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
This project was a three-level family home located in Clontarf, Sydney. It was originally automated with Clipsal C-Bus, but the system suffered from frequent glitches and reliability issues, frustrating the homeowners. To solve this, we upgraded the entire installation to KNX, reusing the existing C-Bus cabling as the new KNX twisted pair bus. This minimized installation costs and disruptions to the house. We integrated lighting, blinds, and scene control with modern, flexible KNX devices, giving the clients a stable, future-proof solution that works seamlessly across all rooms. The upgrade improved reliability, added new features, and made the home much easier to expand and maintain in the future.
