Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

This residential project, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, utilizes KNX technology to fully automate and centralize the control of common area lighting systems including corridors, entrance, reception, rooftop, and outdoor spaces. The integration includes motion sensors for presence-based lighting control and a central touch panel interface at the reception for seamless user interaction. KNX was selected for its scalability, multi-vendor interoperability, and robust infrastructure, ensuring long-term flexibility and reduced energy consumption. The system enables optimal operational efficiency and enhances the overall safety and comfort of residents and visitors, while allowing for future expansions without major infrastructure overhaul.
