Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Description des clients
Blue at Lavender Bay is a residential development by Aqualand situated on the harbourside in Sydney, Australia. The scope involved combining two originally separate units into one unified residence, while transforming the existing Crestron-based control environment into a reliable, KNX-led wired smart home system.
Key challenges included modernising the control system with minimal rewiring and disruption to the finished interior. Rather than rebuilding the system from scratch, Tecco adopted a practical retrofit strategy. Through internal R&D, Tecco identified the existing CAT5 infrastructure throughout the building was compatible with KNX data transmission.
By upgrading, the resident can also manage everything remotely via the mobile app, from intercom and scenes to AC and entering the building.
