Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
This project was a KNX IP-based whole-home retrofit, transforming a property with no prior smart home infrastructure into a connected, energy-aware environment.
The core challenge was minimising disruption across three floors. Rather than running extensive KNX TP cabling between levels, Tecco used a layered KNX IP architecture with IP routers to link the ground floor, basement, and first floor into one integrated system, reducing installation complexity without compromising performance.
It covered lighting, curtains, and AC control. It also includes whole-home energy management, with all electrical circuits monitored for usage monitoring. The system integrates with a battery hybrid inverter, enabling better understanding of consumption and future optimisation.
This project demonstrates Tecco's ability to deliver advanced solutions in complex retrofit environments, combining thoughtful engineering, installation efficiency, and high homeowner satisfaction.
