Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
A 600 m² private villa over three levels, where the same company delivered every building service and the control system.
M2KS installed a Daikin VRV IV system with eight ducted units and Airzone zone control, three heat-recovery ventilation units, and a complete electrical installation: 14 RCDs, 75 protected circuits and two stages of surge protection, every circuit labelled.
KNX controls lighting and roller shutters: 66 Schneider Electric SpaceLogic devices across two lines joined by a coupler, and 111 group addresses in a structured tree. More than thirty lighting circuits are addressed individually, with dimming, absolute value and status feedback on every command. A Wiser for KNX logic controller hosts the scenes and the visualisation, on site and remotely, and push buttons with dynamic labelling name each function on screen.
Air conditioning and ventilation keep their own Airzone regulation; the bus was structured so that they can be integrated later.
