Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients

Nieuwe bewoners hadden de wens alle licht aansluitpunten van de woning aan te passen voor nieuwe armaturen. Dit was een breed scala aan armaturen. In de originele installatie waren bijna alle lichtaansluitpunten voorzien van dimmers gepositioneerd in een centrale kast. Sommige van de gewenste armaturen moesten worden voorzien van vaste voeding omdat deze armaturen waren voorzien van hun eigen app "casambi" . Een mooie extra functionaliteit van deze armaturen was dat de ze contactloos met je hand kan bedienen. Maar hierdoor werkte de armaturen echter niet meer mee aan de scenes en alles uit functie. tevens waren de bestaande knoppen niet meer in gebruik. Echter was er toch de behoefte aanwezig ook de knoppen te kunnen toepassen. Door een casambi gateway naar Dali toe te passen i.c.m. een KNX /Dali component kon ik deze koppeling vrij gemakkelijk realiseren. Helaas was KNX niet in de gehele woning aanwezig. En hebben we met batterij loze RF componenten ook hier aan de behoefte voldaan.
