Energy Efficiency

Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

The idea is link the traffic control tower at one of the airports land with the lighting of the runway via knx system
in this project we use of a previously existing optical cable for other purposes to transmit the control signal between the tower and The runway for a distance more than 5 km
In this way, we have achieved great savings, ease of use and monitoring of the condition of the landing strips
