Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

With extensive refurbishment across all aspects, the total year over year energy consumption of this building could be reduced by 75% over the previous owners rates. For this, Roof, Heating, Glazing, Pipes and Electricals were renewed. Any environmental aspects are gathered and acted upon. Sun tracing, Indoor/Outdoor Humidity, Temperatures, Presence per room, Water and Electricty consumption, Heat Pump Control, Photovoltaic and Car Charging interaction. Most aspects are controlled automatically, fulfilling inhabitants wishes before they're expressed. Nevertheless, every room allows manual control of all aspects, overruling any automations should the need occur - it rarely does! Scenes adapt over time.
