Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Description des clients
The owner of a family house decided to have an automated and voice controlled KNX infrastructure installed.
The main key factors of the customer were the following:
- KNX based automation
- Philips Hue integration (replacement of the existing lightning bulbs)
- visualisation via Apple Homekit
- voice controlled
- both local and remote controlled (via the Internet) in a secure manner.
Different vendors of voice gateways have been tested, and the pros and cons have been evaluated against the customer requirements as a sort of Proof of Concept validation.
