Description des clients
The Norval Foundation is a centre for art and cultural expression. Located Cape Town, adjacent to Table Mountain National Park, it combines the experience of art with an appreciation for nature. The building runs off a Gira Server as the user interface with 12 KNX distributions boards. Using KNX we were able to for-fill all the requirement from the lighting designers’ scope (www.ppald.com) being able to highlight individual artwork at the press of a button with the ability to create/learn scenes for specific venue function, pre-set dimming, DMX sequence lighting etc. Monitoring air quality in the galleries. Individual energy metering of all areas including main supply. Constant light control for the offices and working areas. Presence detection for all walkways, outdoor lighting and parking areas with HVAC and PV/Solar Monitoring. The system allows Secure Remote Access and user right to a number of different profiles for functions and tasks to manage the facility.
