Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

The new Forensic Medicine and Coroners Court Complex is the largest facility of its kind in Australia. The AU$91.5 million three-story building located in Sydney, Australia includes four state-of-the-art courtrooms for coronial hearings and inquests along with state-of-the-art coronial services and support areas for families. The new building fosters a collaboration between forensic medicine, coronial staff and police.
The project recently won a National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) Commercial category Award recognising the holistic features and functions of the building.
The utilisation of KNX as the building automation system was a significant contributor to the completed buildings performance which has exceeded the Governments expectations for sustainability, operating budgets and flexibility.
