The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

This project focuses on delivering advanced KNX training to engineers responsible for operating and maintaining critical systems at the top of the Clock Tower. Due to the complexity, height, and importance of this iconic landmark, the training was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. Participants gained hands-on experience in controlling, integrating, and troubleshooting key systems such as lighting and HVAC within a unified KNX platform. The program emphasized reliability, fast fault response, and structured system management, enabling engineers to confidently handle complex scenarios with minimal downtime. This initiative not only enhanced individual competencies but also contributed to the long-term operational efficiency and sustainability of the Clock Tower’s smart infrastructure.
