Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

New Zealand's largest hotel operator, Accor, welcomes Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport Hotel into its portfolio. The hotel is the first five-star hotel to open at the Auckland Airport precinct, being only 100m from the front entrance of the international terminal. Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport Hotel is set to quickly establish itself as one of New Zealand's most architecturally striking hotels. The name 'Te Arikinui' is gifted to the hotel by Kiingi Tuheitia Pootatau Te Wherowhero VII, the Maori King. Its meaning is 'Supreme Ariki' or 'Supreme Paramount Chief'. From the hotel's name to its distinctive three-pointed star shape and unique cultural designs embedded in both its exterior and interior, this hotel is a stunning expression of the significance of this location to the iwi of the Tainui waka. The Hotel has 311 rooms over the 9 floors, with big ground lobby reception lounge and bar areas. On level 9 there are Restaurant, Executive Lounge and Cocktail Bar.
