Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

# Santorini Twin Villas – KNX Smart Automation
This KNX project was designed for two modern villas in Santorini, providing centralized and intelligent control of lighting, HVAC, pool heating and occupancy functions. The system automatically switches selected loads off when guests leave, while still allowing remote management when required. Pool temperature, heating status, room temperature and HVAC operation can be monitored and controlled through the MDT VisuControl interface. The installation focuses on energy efficiency, comfort, reliability and simple operation for both guests and property management, while providing a flexible platform for future extensions.
