Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. This project involved upgrading the room automation infrastructure by replacing an outdated control system with a KNX-based solution. The goal was to improve reliability, stability, and long-term maintainability while enhancing the overall guest experience.
The KNX system integrates lighting, curtain control, and air-conditioning into a single standardized platform with seamless communication between devices. Centralized control and consistent operation provide a more stable and professional automation solution for hospitality applications.
One of the key advantages of KNX in this project was the flexibility to combine products from different manufacturers while maintaining full compatibility and system reliability. The upgraded system also allows easier maintenance and future expansion possibilities, creating a future-proof solution for the property.
