Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation
Innovation
Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Description des clients
Our mission in Wicklow Hospice Foundation is the provision of a 15-room hospice in-patient unit at Magheramore in Wicklow which will serve as the hub of an integrated palliative care service for the County.
How we care for those with life-limiting illnesses – providing care, comfort and dignity – is a true measure of our society’s values and our health care system. Most of us are affected at some point by this experience, and in each case we only get one chance to ‘get it right’.
It is envisaged that the hospice will enable more people to be discharged from hospital settings to their preferred place of care – their home or local hospice. The hospice unit will provide daycare, outpatient clinics, respite care and access to multidisciplinary specialist services. The new service will not only meet the preferred care needs of patients but will also be more cost-effective than current services.
