Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Description des clients

Taking the project we have two main goals: a perfect monitoring of the room occupancy and a good managing of energy consumption. By the room occupancy the objective of the customer was to avoid that his employees use his hotel for own purposes. Using the standard hotel management system , it is easy for 3 or 4 key employees with criminal energy to organize a fraud system together. The standard detectors, can identify a presence, but how to make the difference between, cleaning, maintenance , room checking, wrong opening... We Develop a strong algorithm with the help of Wiser for KNX capable to filter all the wrong alerts and generate multiple reports to facilitate the owner a fast overview and a check against the hotel management report. By the second part a good monitoring with an automated switch on/Off in all common spaced was developed. the algorithm also caculate an average consumption and generated alert by Variation.
