Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Privately owned villa in the souther suberbs of Athens. In this bespoke installation the owner wanted us to implement something that is not common practice in the system integration industry, Apart from the typical smart home and energy saving functions, he wanted us to implement a triple energy source management system. This project has 3 energy sources for heating (natural gas, diesel and heat pumps) and the owner wanted a solution that could seamlesly select and use the preffered energy source based on the cost of use, meanig he wanted to able to choose the cheapest available energy type at any given time...! This project also includes a dedicated Home Theater with Trinnov AV equipment and B&W top of the line In wall speakers along with a wall to wall Artnovion Sound treatment - Sound Absorption Installation.
