Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

This KNX training and demonstration project represents a residential and commercial building environment and was designed, installed, programmed and commissioned as a complete practical KNX system. The installation integrates lighting and dimming, blind and shutter control with automatic sun tracking and weather protection, heating and individual room control, scenes, central functions, time schedules, logical functions, window/door contact monitoring and visualisation. The project uses KNX TP and KNX IP communication and includes KNX Secure. It demonstrates the planning, parameterisation, commissioning, diagnostics and interaction of different KNX functions within one integrated building automation system.
