Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Descripción de los clientes
The KNX bus is connected to AWS IoT hub using MQTT, can be controlled by voice using Alexa Echo and also uses AWS Machine Learning (AI) functions to detect anomalies in the system. Cloud based functions adjust the angle of the blinds precisely according to the current sun elevation and azimuth calculated from GPS coordinates.
Using TextToSpeech the house can announce events in natural language, e.g. when a letter has been dropped in the letterbox. Using HoloLens AR you can place virtual switches and visualize sensor readings in a virtual 3D model. https://youtu.be/rXNvADrF2Rg
