Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Located in Ho Chi Minh City, this extraordinary project is designed as an organic "hut" completely immersed in nature. Featuring extensive wraparound glass walls and a central skylight, the villa blurs the lines between its interior and the lush gardens. The homeowner demanded absolute privacy and climate comfort without compromising the rustic aesthetic. Etron Smarthome delivered a masterclass in "invisible technology" via a robust KNX backbone. We integrated premium KNX brands (Ekinex, Weinzierl, Elsner, Kanontec), interfacing perfectly with DALI lighting and Modbus HVAC. The system intuitively automates shading and climate control to counteract the heavy sun exposure, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and strict privacy. This multi-brand ecosystem operates silently, transforming a glass architectural marvel into a highly secure, personalized, and serene urban retreat.
