Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

ROOMIO GRMS, a multi-tenant GRMS platform, and KNX automation power a fully integrated smart hotel experience, combining advanced guestroom management with intelligent building control. The system enables centralized control of lighting, shading, and HVAC across guestrooms and public areas, ensuring optimal comfort, efficiency, and energy savings. All lighting is based on 24V constant voltage dimmable LED systems, delivering smooth, flicker-free dimming and precise scene control.
Occupancy-based automation adjusts room conditions in real time, with dynamic lighting and shading scenes responding to guest presence and behavior. Automated check-in and check-out are integrated with smart access control for seamless, secure guest journeys. Through ROOMIO GRMS, guestroom functions such as “DND, MUR” housekeeping requests, and service coordination are fully digitalized and connected to hotel operations.
