DALI Broadcast 4x

Similar to a conventional dimming actuator, a DALI Broadcast Actuator controls the lighting in a DALI system. A DALI broadcast actuator sends commands to all DALI devices connected to the same output simultaneously. Wiring is extremely simple, as the luminaires are connected to the actuator in parallel. Each DALI operating device has its own power supply; there is no need to plan a common power supply. The new KNX DALI Broadcast 4-gang actuator provides 4 outputs for a maximum of 128 operating devices. Up to 40 operating devices can be controlled per output; the load does not need to be distributed evenly. The device supports the DALI 2 multimaster function, allowing additional DALI 2 sensors to be integrated in multimaster mode. The broadcast central control eliminates the need for DALI programming and the system can be commissioned quickly and easily. The KNX DALI Broadcast 4-gang actuator is ideal for controlling DALI light sources in stairwells, underground car parks, factory buildings and multi-purpose halls, wherever the light sources do not need to be controlled individually.
