KNXdrive4U Product

The electronic KNX-RF valve actuator "KNXDrive4u" is used to regulate room temperature using the standardized KNX radio protocol. "KNXDrive4u" is designed for water-filled convector radiators equipped with an M30 x 1.5 valve. The valve actuator is maintenance-free. No batteries need to be replaced. "KNXDrive4u" draws its energy from a Peltier element (correctly: "thermoelectric generator"), which uses the temperature difference between the valve head and the room air. This occurs when the valve is open and warm water flows through the valve. Conversely, this means that the "KNXDrive4u" valve actuator can only function properly if the corresponding room is heated long enough during the heating season to ensure that the internal battery is full at the end of the heating season to survive the summer period. Corresponding parameters and communication objects are available in the application to distinguish between summer/winter time and heating/non-heating periods. The same applies to the battery level.
