xxter Dummy (KNX Secure)

The xxter controller is designed for the implementation of advanced supervision and automation in buildings based on the KNX® standard. The device operates as a multi-protocol integration platform and logic engine, serving as the functional hub of the building automation infrastructure. Through the free xxter app for iOS® and Android® mobile devices, and for Windows® PC and Apple® Mac®, the controller enables intuitive and centralized visualisation and management of core building functions, including lighting, climate control, shutters, energy management, and other integrated systems. In addition to full KNX compatibility, the xxter controller supports the integration of various other protocols and standards, including but not limited to Modbus®, Philips Hue®, Sonos® and BluOS® multiroom audio, as well as many IP camera and intercom systems. The device provides advanced automation features, such as: • Configurable scene module • Time scheduling and calendars • Presence simulation • Event and trigger management • Creation of advanced visual logic and Lua scripting The controller also includes a Smart Energy Manager for monitoring and optimizing energy consumption, contributing to the building’s operational efficiency and supporting sustainability-oriented strategies, including potential alignment with environmental standards such as BREEAM. For system diagnostics and maintenance, the device can operate as a KNX logger for recording and analysing bus telegrams and can support remote management of the KNX system, facilitating technical assistance operations.
