KNX Day 2026 – Building Automation in Practice

On 29 October 2026, KNX National Group Denmark brings together professionals from across the building automation industry for a day focused on the technologies, requirements and business considerations shaping KNX projects today.
The programme will explore BR18 and NIS2 requirements, cybersecurity and network security, the latest developments in ETS6, BMS and IoT integration, AI assistance, product development, and the economics and profitability of building automation. Alongside the technical sessions, there will be plenty of opportunity for dialogue, knowledge sharing and networking among manufacturers, consultants, integrators and installers.
The programme will provide an overview of the latest features and tools available in ETS6, including cloud integration, with a practical focus on supporting the design, configuration and commissioning of KNX installations.
Two external experts will also contribute to the programme. Morten Ulrik Koefoed Christensen, Senior Specialist at NIRAS, will address building regulation requirements for building automation, as well as cybersecurity and network security in relation to the NIS2 Directive.
Søren Draborg, Business Manager at the Danish Technological Institute, will explore the opportunities and profitability of building automation, together with BR18 requirements and their implications for building automation.
The aim of the day is to combine practical expertise, current industry developments and knowledge sharing to explore how KNX contributes to the continued development of open and integrated building automation systems.
