Detailed Description

Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Innovation

Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Customers Description

Built in the early twentieth century, this French colonial villa is located in the historic heart of Hanoi, where many of the city’s most distinctive architectural landmarks have been preserved. Over the decades, the property had retained much of its original character, including its proportions, façade composition, high ceilings, decorative details and the refined spatial qualities typical of French colonial architecture. The new owner wished to restore the villa as a private residence while introducing the level of comfort, convenience and technological performance expected from a contemporary luxury home. The central challenge was therefore to achieve a careful balance between preservation and modernisation. The renovation had to respect the architectural heritage of the building and maintain the atmosphere of the original interiors, while discreetly integrating advanced systems for lighting, climate control, shading, security and home automation.
