Detailed Description

Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Innovation

Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Customers Description

This 16 m² renovation transforms a former hotel guestroom in central Tokyo into the private office of Rerise Tokyo, a real estate firm — proving that intelligence has no minimum square footage. Upon entry, a motion-triggered Welcome Scene brings the room to life: lighting gently fades up, motorized shades open to let the city in, and soft music begins to play — with distinct atmospheres for day and night. Climate adjusts with a touch. A single multi-touch gesture at the integrated thermostat mutes the entire room for a sudden call. And when the day is done, one keypad press at the door powers everything down at once. Yet the space does not end at its walls — the entire system can be monitored and controlled remotely, from anywhere, at any time. This is more than just a meeting room. It is a showcase that offers the shortest path to experiencing the true potential and elegance of home and building automation.
