Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
The complex of three appartments in the center of Heraklion is rented to visitors of the town. We have installed a KNX system in these appartments to have the control of the access through keypads, the air conditions through gateways, the smoke detectors, the lights and most importantly the presence. The presence is realised with a logic that combines the movement detectors and the door contacts. Also the access control of the appartments is controlled by a KNX server that gives the flexibility to the manager to create a unique code for each guest and only for the dates of the accomodation.
